Xiao’ao Kunshan Factory: A Stunning Industrial Landscape

Braving the first thunderstorm of spring, we arrived at the Xia’ao Kunshan factory (STEP Group), a sight that was nothing short of breathtaking. The first phase of the factory occupies 30 mu of land, almost entirely filled with factory buildings. The facility is divided into three bays, each capable of accommodating three robotic automobile production lines simultaneously. Each line can handle over a hundred robots weighing up to 240 kilograms each. The sheer scale, grandeur, and meticulous planning of this facility are truly astonishing.

In April, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Bureau of Statistics jointly released information on 13 new occupations. These are the first batch of new occupations announced since the publication of the 2015 edition of the National Occupational Classification Directory. The new occupations are primarily concentrated in high-tech fields, encompassing cutting-edge professional and technical roles spurred by the upgrading of industrial structures, transformations of traditional occupations driven by technological advancements, and new occupations emerging from the widespread application of information technology.

China Market SCARA Sales Ranking | Zhongweixing Ranks 3rd, No. 1 Among Domestic Brands

On March 19, 2019, GaoGong Robot Network released the “2018 China SCARA Robot Shipment Ranking.” According to data from GGII, in 2018, foreign-funded companies accounted for 66.04% of China’s SCARA market sales share. Looking at SCARA sales data, compared with 2017 figures, most suppliers saw a slight increase in SCARA shipments in 2018, while the CR5 ranking of sales market share remained unchanged. Among them, Epson and Yamaha continued to lead, followed by Zhongweixing, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba.
