On November 6, 2018, the opening ceremony of the 3rd China-Central and Eastern European Countries Innovation Cooperation Conference (also known as the 16+1 CEE Innovation Cooperation Meeting) was successfully held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory letter to the conference. At the opening ceremony, Zhang Jianguo, Deputy Minister of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology and Director of the State Administration of Foreign Experts, read the congratulatory letter and delivered a speech. Also attending the opening ceremony were Dženovija Zvizdić, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister of the Government); Šarović, Vice Chairperson of the Council of Ministers (Deputy Prime Minister) and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation; and Jusko, Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
