Smart Manufacturing: STEP Robot Showcases Multiple Industry Application Achievements | Replays of the Industrial Fair Exhibition

In recent years, the widespread adoption of robots has significantly enhanced the intelligent manufacturing capabilities of traditional factories. At the China International Industry Fair, held from September 19 to 23 at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center, STEP, in collaboration with Leisun Robotics, showcased automated production line solutions for solar panels, as well as intelligent systems for applications such as door panel bending, faucet polishing and grinding, and tool polishing and grinding. Additionally, they demonstrated the fun and engaging application of robots making cotton candy.

The 2018 Shanghai Top 100 Enterprises List was released, and STEP made the cut in three categories.

The lists of the Top 100 Shanghai Enterprises, Top 100 Shanghai Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 100 Shanghai Service Enterprises for 2018—as well as the lists of the Top 100 Shanghai Private Enterprises, Top 100 Shanghai Private Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 100 Shanghai Private Service Enterprises—were unveiled on August 24. This series of lists was jointly released by the Shanghai Enterprise Confederation, the Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, and the Shanghai Economic Organizations Federation.

Young Eagles Set Sail | STEP Holds 2018 New Graduate Onboarding Training Program

In July, STEP welcomed 48 outstanding recent graduates, most of whom graduated from prestigious domestic universities such as the 985 and 211 institutions, as well as top overseas universities in the U.S. and other countries. Approximately 85% of them hold master’s degrees. After more than a decade of hard work, driven by their parents’ expectations and fueled by bright dreams, they’ve gathered at STEP this season, when the lotus flowers exude a gentle, lingering fragrance. Thus began Shanghai STEP 2018 “Young Eagles Set Sail” program for new graduates.

STEP Robotics Wins the “Golden Finger Award” Again, Shining at CIROS 2018

On July 3, at the China International Robot Industry Development Summit Forum and the 2018 CIROS “Golden Finger Award” Ceremony—the annual China International Robot Awards—STEP once again won two “Golden Finger Awards” at CIROS. STEP President Cai Liang was awarded the “Outstanding Figure Award,” and STEP SA1400 robot received the “Innovative Product Award.”
