The 2017 China International Industry Fair was grandly held from November 7 to 11 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). STEP exhibited in the robotics special exhibition area, booth number: 7.1H-B242. STEP exhibits included: the SD900 high-protection-level desktop robot, the SRC2.6C integrated drive-and-control system, intelligent robotic workstations, robotic vision recognition/force control technologies, SCARA robot application technologies, core components for servo drives, and virtual commissioning technology for flexible automotive production lines, among others.

On November 8, the "China Robotics Summit Forum and the 3rd CEO Roundtable Summit" was held at the Xijiao Hotel in Shanghai. Miao Wei, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Competition Drives Enterprises to Keep Improving

On the afternoon of November 6, Comrade Miao Wei, a member of the Central Lecture Group, a member of the CPC Central Committee, and Minister of Industry and Information Technology, visited Shanghai New Motion Robot Co., Ltd. for a research visit and delivered a lecture on the spirit of the 19th National Congress to grassroots employees. On October 10, 2017, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dongguan Songshan Lake Industrial Park project of Shenzhen Zhongweixing Technology Co., Ltd., a member of the STEP Group, was held with great pomp and circumstance. STEP is building three robotics R&D and industrialization bases in Shanghai, Kunshan, and Dongguan, demonstrating its ambitious vision in the field of intelligent manufacturing of industrial robots.

STEP Electric National Tour Technical Training Session | Hefei Station

The STEP Hefei Technical Training Workshop was held as scheduled at the Wenyi Days Hotel in Hefei. The workshop was primarily aimed at providing technical training and facilitating technical exchanges for STEP customers in Anhui Province. A total of over 80 customers from Hefei and other regions of Anhui attended the event.

STEP Electric National Tour Technical Training Session | Shenyang Station

The Shenyang Technical Training Session of Shanghai STEP Electric Co., Ltd. was held as scheduled at the Jianhui Junyue Hotel in Shenyang. An unexpected heavy rainstorm early in the morning caused traffic disruptions on many roads in Shenyang; however, the storm did not dampen everyone’s enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Using various modes of transportation—including buses, subways, and bicycles—participants made their way to the training venue.

On September 8, the “Chinese Dream, Brand Dream” 2017 Elevator Industry User-Preferred Brand Selection and Award Ceremony, organized by Sail Media, kicked off with great fanfare at the Xinghe Bay Hotel in Shanghai. The theme of this event was “Safety, Energy Efficiency, and Comfort—Brands Forging Timeless Excellence.” Well-known elevator industry companies such as Mitsubishi, ThyssenKrupp, Hitachi, and Xintaida were invited to attend the event.

Automotive Intelligent Flexible Welding Production Line Project | STEP Xia'ao Kunshan New Factory Breaks Ground

With the fragrance of golden osmanthus filling the air and a refreshing breeze gently blowing, on September 12, 2017, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new factory building (Phase I) of the Intelligent Flexible Welding Production Line Project—Xiao’ao Industrial Intelligent Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.—was solemnly held at the Kunshan High-tech Zone Industrial Park in Suzhou. Leaders from the Kunshan High-tech Zone Investment Promotion Bureau, Economic Development Bureau, Robotics Industry Base, and Urban Planning & Construction Bureau, as well as representatives from the construction partners, senior executives from STEP Group, and Xiao’ao employees, all attended the ceremony together.
